HAMPTON, New Hampshire (September 26, 2012) – New Hampshire-based Foss Manufacturing, a leading innovator and pioneer in the specialty fibers, non-woven, and needle-punch fabrics industry, announces that the company is opening a $15 million, 220,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution operation in Rome, Georgia.
The Georgia facility will employ about 150 people in the first three years and will enable the company to more quickly deliver products to specific, regional customers that often have customized orders required to be delivered on a very tight deadline.
With a worldwide customer base, Foss also continues its commitment to the growth of its Hampton, New Hampshire headquarters. The help and cooperation it has received from NH-based BFA and CEDC during the past several years has made this growth possible at the New Hampshire plant. Since January, the company has added two new production lines in New Hampshire and 60 new employees and is in the process of building another two production lines that will add 50 to 60 new jobs in Hampton within the next six months.
