Foss Manufacturing Company, LLC held its first annual Work America, Employee and Supplier Appreciation Day on August 27, 2006. With 1,000 people in attendance from the New Hampshire area, it was a day of fun, food, and entertainment. Some of the highlights included pony rides, moon bounce, rock wall climbing, dunk tank, water slide, and face painting. All the while, the Jumbo Circus Peanuts party band was rocking it out! Foss t-shirts and baseball hats were given to all attendees, and raffles for both children and adults took place hourly.

There was an abundance of food, including lobster, and a visit from the ice cream man. Even through the rain, everyone was able to have a great time. "We wanted to thank our employees and suppliers for their continued dedication and support towards the success of the company," said AJ Nassar, Chief Executive Officer of Foss Manufacturing. "It is through their support that we have been able to strengthen the company's product offering, institute cost reductions, and implement an operating plan designed to return the company to profitability, while keeping good jobs in America.

To date we have saved more than 350 American jobs and in doing so; have provided comfort and security to their families. It is our plan to hire another 200 employees this year. This is a company that just 6 months ago was in bankruptcy and had a strong prospect of closing forever."
